Management is not transparent in the interview process, once hired they require that you fill emergency on call hours and are available to answer you personal phone 24 hrs a day for emergency issues.
No training is provided and don't ask to many questions to the same manager. There is no feedback regarding job performance, if they don't like it they just fire people. Constant turnover. The approach is to sell you on what a great company it is to work for, but after you get there, that's a whole different story.

Forced participation in trying to build a cohesive "team".

They offer some flexibility with daily schedules and work from home opportunities but it's a catch 22 because they expect you to work all of the time. The pay is decent the benefits are average.

I left for advancement. At the time First Sevice had just merged with The Continental Group. They were working on employee loyalty programs and advancement.

My experience with First Service was positive.
This is an stablished company and behaves like any corporate.

I don't have anything negative to say about FSR.

The Resident caretaker position is low stress and has no commute time. Weekly required hours is generally low, but need to be on-call every other week.
