Improved my skillset while working at FIS
Fun place to work and improved my skills at the same time. Nice people and latest technology. Too much work during the month end and month starting days.

In and out. Get experience then get out. Lot of advancement based on who you know. Cousins, sisters etc get promoted over competent people. Dinosaur culture.

Very unfriendly management. Lots of mandatory OT required. The training is decent but there is little support from management. The call center literally feels like a prison.

You need to know you are a number when you walk in the door. You may last 6 months, or 6 years, but no matter how good you are at your job or how much overtime you put in, you will likely get laid off. No salary increase for most employees who worked their butts off during pandemic. Job clarity is really poor. The incessant reorganization is absolutely destabilizing and causes immense stress for employees who are just barely getting by in life financially, which is clearly killing employee productivity. Products are old and not innovative. All employee support systems and applications are broken. Internal website poorly restructured. You can’t find anything you need. Communication across teams is horrific. Upper management disconnected from the realities of how teams actually function to get work done. Many teams way too lean after recent RIFs, and the company appears to be queued up to do it again very shortly. If you like constantly feeling like you might be part of next round of layoffs then this place is for you. If you want a career, go elsewhere.

Looked to downsize people and make due with less personal. Too much work is sent offshore rather than use local talent. Benefits are skimpy and culture is poor
