I feel it depends on the management team and the time of year. During periods like summer when many younger employees are available its easier to request flexibility. During peak seasons like November and December when many students have less flexible schedules and employers need more hands its harder on both sides. It varies store to store as managers make the schedule on their own discretion not by a set rule from corporate. Id advise to ask about it and be upfront about your needs before applying so you arent wasting your time or the employers.

Hahaha you don't get a break. I mean you're schedule for one but go ask all the exempt salaried employees the last time they got an UNINTERRUPTED break. Don't hold your breath; you'll die.
