Consider the Permit Process as a WHOLE to encourage cooperative interaction between phone agents and auditors. Do an "Undercover Boss" move and sit on the phone for a WEEK in each category. Your phone agents are the ones making you $$ every day. Support them, and your bottom line will improve. Disrespect them, as you do, and turnover will continue to be horrifying. My training class in June 2016 was about 18 people. As of June 2018, we have all left. Let that sink in....

They asked about my many years of experience dealing with difficult situations. Also described the job in manner that did not turn out to be accurate. I tried for a year to accept and adjust. Shooting a weapon two feet from me while I was on the phone with a customer was not acceptable to me.
