Great service to patients, poorly run
Anonymous (Current Employee) - Anonymous - September 23, 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedAs other reviewers have mentioned, it’s money bottom line. Too bad because the service that is offered is good for the patients. Just not good for employees.

Loved the patients but horrible management
Office Administrator (Former Employee) - Plano, TX - September 22, 2023
I loved working for the company due to my coworkers and the lovely patients that made the day great that was the only enjoyment. The job itself wasn’t hard and the compensation was ok not really much opportunity for overtime. The management is absolutely HORRIBLE… the CEO claims to care for the patients but overall it’s all about the numbers and money. You’re not prepared at the beginning of the job and the Clinical Directors expect you to know everything to make their job better coming in. I was only there for a few months and i saw three CDs leave or get fired and two techs that quit and at the location I worked at both techs that’s remaining were currently looking for other jobs to leave as well. I can see the vision of the company and therapy but at the rate it’s going it’s going to be a company ran by management and new employees every 3 months.
Pros
Nice patients, updated facilities
Cons
Compensation, management, no growth

I honestly hate working here
Clinical (Current Employee) - United States - January 7, 2023
I wanted to leave this anonymous review to help warn other people not to work for this company. I agree with many of the reviews that management and the CEO are just really bad, but they work hard to give you that great first impression. So I enjoyed working here at first. But then the toxic culture emerged; there is so much negative talk about the CEO that in my personal experience feels true, and from a personal experience, I feel like this is a company that only cares about the bottom line and NOT the patients' wellbeing. My direct manager does a very poor job of overseeing and addressing concerns. It feels as if no one on the upper levels care, but they try to act like they do. But their actions ring hollow. I will be leaving here as soon as I find a new job. I do not recommend working here.
Pros
The patients are very nice and gracious
Cons
Toxic culture, bad CEO

Great workplace with supportive leadership.
Clinical Director (Current Employee) - United States - February 28, 2022
I love that I am a part of a company that truly impacts the overall outcomes of patients. Work/life balance and culture is important to the company. The onboarding and training aspect went exceptionally well. There is always someone available to answer any of your questions. I feel very well prepared and that I have the resources needed to succeed in my role. I look forward to being part of this company for many years to come.

Sad sad situation
Administration (Former Employee) - Remote - February 26, 2022
At the start my job was exciting, my manager had a clear path for the team and encouraged the department to help each other. It did not take long, however, to see the chaos caused by the rather clueless CEO. As more people left and teams were switched up, that once important teamwork was less important. People who work long hours, give up weekends, and do multiple jobs received no recognition. I would call the practices of newer management shady at best. Tools needed to do your job are not always available to you and inquires go left unanswered by the source. By the end I found I was lied to and treated in a rather disrespectful manner. The patients are wonderful, but much of the staff is greedy and self centered. My suggestion is to run as fast as you can, it is not worth the headache and frustration.

Leadership is working to ensure every employee has a voice and is heard and valued.

Poor experience, ineffective management
Fellow (Current Employee) - United States - February 14, 2022
I've worked here as a fellow for a while, and my experience has not been very good. The main thing is that my supervisor is not very effective at overseeing and helping me get things done. In general, their fellow program is poorly structured and implemented. Other things I have noticed is how there is so much negative talk among the employees (negative talk about the CEO and leadership). While I do agree with some of the negative things I hear, this creates a pretty toxic environment. Overall, it's a nice place to work (clean facilities, people are nice), but if I had to choose again, I would not opt for the fellow program.
Pros
The patients
Cons
horrible CEO, terrible leadership, lack of communication, lots of gossip and dishonesty around the clinic

Poor management, toxic work environment, CEO is clueless
Revenue Cycle Specialist (Current Employee) - Remote - December 17, 2021
Poor resources, toxic work environment. New people who have no idea what they are doing bad mouthing prior leaders who knew the industry. If you like grade school gossip this is the place for you - otherwise run from this company.
Pros
Patients
Cons
Environment, pay, poor resources

New outlook and Core values
RCM (Current Employee) - Fort Worth, TX - December 15, 2021
In coming to this company I have been so happy to have become a part of the revenue cycle team and seeing the company reinvent themselves and truly care for every aspect of the business from the patients coming in to every employee that works for them. Sure the rebranding and reworking policies and procedures can be uncomfortable but if you’re not challenged everyday then is it worth it? I absolutely love the workday I have here. The management staff is very accommodating with real life situations and working remote is fabulous. They are supportive in making sure there is a work and home life balance. This is a fabulous place to work and I’m proud to say I work here and look forward to the growth and potential this company has!
Pros
Great benefits, matching 401(k), responsive management, strong leadership, clear goals and focus, work-life balance, fun employee engagement functions

Trending in the right direction.
Director of Area Development (Current Employee) - Plano, TX - November 18, 2021
Flow Therapy is a company going through a tremendous growth phase. I cannot speak for years prior, but the proper leadership and staff have been put in place to make sure this company is successful and contributes toward a positive work environment. Flow Therapy is a prestigious group who care about their team members and patients alike. It's refreshing to be involved in a company who is looking-out for everyone's best interest.
Pros

Cons
Growing pains, but they're being worked out.

Toxic work environment
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) - Austin, TX - November 17, 2021
The patients are the only positive about this company. The therapy helps so many; however, the company views the patients as dollar signs. The CEO only cares about the money that patients bring in so he is hyper focused on numbers and people will get fired for not meeting his extremely high expectations. There is high turnover and employees never get raises. Upper management puts on a façade that they care about their employees, but they really don’t. I do not recommend working with this company.
Pros
Work life balance
Cons
CEO and upper management is hypercritical and highly numbers focused

Toxic culture
Technician (Former Employee) - Fort Worth, TX - November 15, 2021
Constant change in staff and managers. Environment is toxic and employees are disrespected. CEO has no idea how to manage or run a company. COO is clueless about the company or business processes. Not a positive place to work. My recommendation is look elsewhere. No raises and expected to work through lunch breaks.
Pros
Patient interaction
Cons
CEO; toxic work environment; negative

Really gone downhill
Administration (Current Employee) - Ft Worth, TX - September 14, 2021
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend working here. Yes the patients are great and I love interacting with them, but the environment of the company is absolutely toxic. So much negativity made only worse by the false positivity that management tries to exude. There is no communication among employees. Your expected to do the work, smile, and be gracious. And the turnover is so bad I cannot even keep track of my coworkers. I honestly hate this place but I need the job.
Pros
patients are great
Cons
poor management, toxic workplace, no communication, bad pay, no job stability, high turnover

Not worth it
EECP Technician (Certified Medical Assistant) (Current Employee) - Fort Worth, TX - September 12, 2021
Look for other options. The patients are great but the work you do won’t be recognized and the pay is terrible. Medical assistants work closely with patients but are treated in an unfair manner. They are often looked down on. It’s near impossible to get a day off or even a lunch break at some of the busy clinics. The turnover rate is high. The patients really make it worth it but getting overworked and underpaid will eventually not make it worthwhile.

Unwilling to make or help someone be better, would rather fire
Administrator (Former Employee) - San Antonio, TX - July 30, 2021
Will fore you after a few weeks if you aren't perfect, you don't need get paid for enough for busy things get and HIPAA compliance is non existent yet it falls on a new person. Horrible combination of communication and lack of respect for each staff member. The upside and idea is all great, the people and company are not.
Cons
Everyone is new, but somehow right
