Key Holder in Coral Springs, FL
You never really feel special, you are expendable and your managers will do everything they can to not give you a living wage they have assistant general managers making less than 35k before taxes, overall this company is cheap and won’t give you a raise unless you know someone from corporate or your best friends with the area managers
Turnover rate is insane. But folks think this is like the rec markets in colorado or oregon. Each company is going to have it's pros and cons. I've worked in different Florida MMJ companies and it's all the same nonsense. High percentages. Folks think they're gonna be budtenders like they're in rec states. Folks be thinking they're walking into Seas of Green when working Cultivation. I like this company though. The higher ups take care of us. The schedules are rad. Could we use more pay? Absolutely. But comparing to what minimum wage is right now, I'll take what I can get.
Cannabis Cultivator in Tampa, FL
As far as education goes, I only learned what NOT to do instead of what to do. This company has serious issues with quality. The soil that is brought in for the plants smells awful and has mold growing all in it, we are told to just mix it in. The mother plants have Powdery Mold and Spider Mites. Nearly half of the plants flowering have a virus that deforms the plant. Cannabis bud production is borderline pathetic. Productivity is emphasized over any kind of care. High turn over rate. Company 100% cares more about stuffing their pockets than anything else. Most employees make barely enough to pay bills. The only way to receive a raise is to change departments. Kissing up to management gets you further than hard work. Hard work goes un-noticed. Breaks are extremely short. I was let go for "lack of productivity" while individuals literally sat around on their phones while I worked. A truly sad experience and one I advise you to avoid.

Pay & benefitsMy pay and benefits at Fluent Cannabis Care are nonexistent. Pay is so low it feels like volunteer work. Not even close to a livable wage. They also don’t allow you to collect tips to help make up for the low wages. Instead all tips are for the office. I can not stress this enough, DO NOT WORK HERE!
Assistant Grower in Tampa, FL
After Learning about cannabis, and proper methods and facilities to grow cannabis, I immediately noticed how half effort this place was doing things. Plants burning because they're growing into lights. Constant mites and aphids, and powdery mildew, poor plant health, from clone stage up to flowering. Upper management has no interest in listening to recommendations of cannabis cultivation consultants. The only concern was to have as many plants flowering as possible to ensure that they hit company metrics. Truly a sad thing. Many great, cannabis minded individuals have come and gone. Fluent does not take cannabis seriously as a medicine. They only see it as a means to stuff their pockets with cash, and get their quarterly bonuses of $20k, and brag about how they are "remodeling their homes" in every lead meeting. It's truly comical.
