Office Assistant (Former Employee) – Vista, CA – November 30, 2018
The company is growing and there seems to be opportunity for advancement in the near future but there are internal struggles that can make it a less than positive work environment. It appeared that working in product assembly, with the engineering staff or for senior management (the people upstairs) could be a rewarding experience. Not quite the same if you have to work closely with the shipping or accounting departments where the general environment is unwelcoming and cynical. There isn't a clear work place philosophy so employee experience highly depends on who you report to. Ongoing tug of war between the new leadership that appears to be trying to drive the company forward and the previous management that appears to be struggling with letting their baby go. If I had had the opportunity to work directly for anyone on the seven person upper management team, I would have been happy to stay long into the future.
Engineering Technician (Former Employee) – Vista, CA – March 7, 2019
I worked at Flux Power in a engineering capacity for 2..2 years. Was ok experience but reoccurring quality problems on the batteries and no real urgency from the sales group. Seems a lot of turnover in that area.
Free lunches, water and new exciting product
Incompetent management and passive aggressive culture by the suits
Assembler/Technician (Former Employee) – Vista, CA – February 2, 2019
Flux Power is a great company on the forefront of lithium-ion cell technology for various applications from forklifts to ground support equipment. Its a comfortable place to work where co-workers feel just like family. Management is hands on and very involved with daily operations. It has its challenges which is to be expected with the ever changing environment that is electric power.
