Meh
This was an mediocre position. I recommend for those who want to go back to school. The work is not interesting however it's very important. The job security is provided based on which administration is in the white house at the time. With 45 being in office...job security is great.
Pros
Meh
Cons
It's in Reston so it's very far

Productive and Advancement for opportunity
Great environment day in and day out never had any complaint about the workplace, great work ethic among each other, learned a considerable amount of the dept. of ed. and rules and regulations. Everyone always willing to lend a hand when needed from co-workers and management. Saddened that the Company had to close down.
Pros
Wonderful Management and Employees
Cons
Company closure

In Summary.....Not a good place to work
FMS was a difficult place to work. There was little structure and no where to go for problem resolution or any kind of mentoring. I would not recommend as a place to work.

Requires Dual Status Must Be in National Guard
Good place to work, good pay. Good benefits. Military structured setting. Must be in the National Guard. In order to obtain a position must be in current good standing with National Guard to hold position.

Military Workplace
This shop is not a bad place to work at as far as being relaxed environment, but can be too relaxed at times. There needs to be someone in the supervisor position that understands the training and not be passive aggressive to communicate with employees what they can and can't do. The supervisor makes all the decisions and HRO department just guides and advises so they do not get into trouble with a certain decision.
Pros
Earned Leave
Cons

felt like a number
From upper management everyone there felt like a number but from the supervisors on the floor they did the best they could to cobat that feeling that all the employees felt. The interior of the place felt a lot like a prison which did not help the moral of the employees that already felt like just heads of cattle
