Sad decline of a once great company
Director, Business Development (Former Employee) –  Denver, COApril 5, 2019
FocusVision has seen a steady decline since being acquired by a private equity firm. Micro-management, bullying and intimidation tactics are the new normal. Management recently asked current employees to post positive reviews on sites like Glassdoor and Indeed to combat the growing number of negative reviews that are being posted. There is an extreme amount of backstabbing in all departments as long term employees are leaving at an alarming rate. There is no job security here.
Pros
Great employees, work from home, travel
Cons
Too many to mention

Project Manager (Current Employee) –  CAApril 1, 2019
This place doesn't foster employees and push them to be their best. No training, get thrown into the fire with or without knowledge. No advancement or plan for employee growth. Over worked and under appreciated.

Strategic Account Director - Large Pharma/Biotech (Former Employee) –  Stamford, CTAugust 28, 2018
Going through heavy duty organizational changes - don't get caught in the cross-fire! Owned by a VC firm with little interest in the industry or how it works.
Pros
Life Insurance
Cons
Weak bonus program, lousy 401k

Decipher Project Manager (Current Employee) –  Fresno, CAAugust 2, 2018
Company has had its ups and downs. Constant unorganized changes. Lack of new hire training which resulted in a few lay-offs. Quite a bit of out-sourcing which caused quality in work to decline.
Cons
Outsourcing, Lack of Training, Constant Changes, Unorganized

INTERVU PROJECT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN (Current Employee) –  Atlanta, GAJune 5, 2018
Great company and work environment. Ability to work from home as well as in the main office. The culture of the company is extremely strong. There are always company events each year to promote a healthy team establishment. Everything is handled primarily in an online environment when working with clients and creating reports.
Pros
Free Lunches, Awesome Team
Cons
No healthcare benefits

A great place to be
InterVu Project Manager (Current Employee) –  Atlanta, GAMay 24, 2018
This is one of the longest jobs I've had and the best part of this job are the awesome people I work with. They make this job amazing! I have also been able to improve on skills that other places do not give you the opportunity to do so this helped me to hone into upgrading my Microsoft Office skills, which is always helpful. Most people who work there tend to handle business as usual, get the chance to engage with one another when possible, and go home knowing that there is a team of individuals who will be there to help with your projects. The hardest part of this job would be the client interaction and dealing with some of their responses and tendencies. Some clients are amazing and others are not so great at times but as long as you can keep in mind that they also have individuals they are working for it all comes full circle. I listed what I enjoy at this job but one thing I do love the most is being able to assist individuals in succeeding in their goals.
Pros
Great coworkers, relaxed environment, snacks.
Cons
Stressful clients and lengthy work hours

Quality Assurance Specialist (Former Employee) –  Fresno, CAMay 12, 2018
Focusvision is a fantastic place to work and has a good work environment. I enjoyed my co-workers and would still be there today if my position wasn't moved to another country.

Chaos incarnate
SOFTWARE ENGINEER (Current Employee) –  Portland, ORMarch 16, 2018
The job might be straight forward but figuring out what you need to do isn't. You'll get shuffled between teams and deal with technologies and products that you have no idea about but others (who aren't on the team) are experts in. Management is atrocious at best and the Portland office is terrible. Want to be agile? Don't come here. You'll be told it is and moved into a group that is supposed to be but everything will change. The engineering manager is in charge and a micro-manager. Don't expect a raise. The annual "merit" raise will be 3% if you're lucky. No other raises.
Pros
Occasional free food
Cons
Dealing with management will make you tear your hair out.

Customer Success Manager (Current Employee) –  Fresno, CAAugust 1, 2017
Provide customers’ continuity throughout the entire customer life-cycle, from on-boarding, implementation, training, education, support, and software updates. Listen for product feedback, ensure support issues are resolved effectively and act as the primary liaison to provide not only support but be available to assist the client throughout the duration of the business relationship.

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GAMay 2, 2017
This company was very private as long as you handled your daily work everything was great. The managers were very helpful and encouraging, sometimes they would order us free lunch. Would love to work there again.

Great company, but going through some growing pains.
Decision makers sit across the country and should listen to the team who is doing the work.
Pros
Decent work/life balance

Management team disconnected from the business

No Organization or Transparency
Business Development Director (Current Employee) –  Stamford, CTNovember 3, 2015
Did not enjoy my time here. Company is up for sale and management has no focus on developing their employees. They dump a ton of work on you right from the get go and leave you to figure out everything with no reasonable amount of training. My manager has no idea how to develop new employees and the company as a whole is lacking any kind of plan. They have acquired other companies but they are not even close to being assimilated into the other organizations. All of their internal architecture is completely out of date and practically obsolete. In general they are a bit of a mess and do not communicate properly with employees.
Pros
Remote Employee
Cons
No Organization or Internal Support
