Good. The manager explained what is to be expected in terms of hours, customers, and working with others. I in turn explained why I wanted to work there and my situation regarding my previous job.
Hours of operation is Mon-Th 730 to 7pm. Occassionally Fridays 730 to 1pm. Holidays and weekends off. No school typically no work, so if students get a couple of days off Follett does too for example; thanksgiving, christmas, etc. During Fall Rush 7am to 8pm, also the 1st to weeks on weekends. Summer hours are shorter 730 to 6pm
If you were in charge, what would you do to make Follett Corporation a better place to work?
Follett Management of many of the mangers at the company use their positions by having a power and Ego and intimidation.
They rushed and I was never tought several things from the get go.
I was in the warehouse for a period of time, 1 Manager said to to the whole group which is a meeting every morning.
I've Fired many people before and I'll do it again.
Why because people were not putting their scan guns back.
Now if everyone decide to talk then they walk he
( the Manager ) would of had to have a darn good Explanation of why the entire warehouse walked out. As I said that should never be said to a group of people in a morning meeting.
It's like being a bully with power and it going straight to ones head.
Does Follett offer "work from home" jobs? I have been a librarian for 7 years, and worked in the library profession as a library aide/circulation for over 16 years. I would like to have a work at home job.
Yes they do have jobs that you work remotely.
What tips or advice would you give to someone interviewing at Follett Corporation?
DONT! You will be taken advantage of and underpaid. The company does not follow OSHA regulations. The company will abuse your rights as a worker. It's better to not even try
I love going to work everyday cause it is always something new but sometimes I feel that I should be getting paid a lot ore for what I do in the store
