It’s not too bad, not too horrible. Pay could be way better for the amount of work we do. Overall it’s decent, time goes by super fast because you’re so busy.

Working for local government has its pros and cons. Particularly in this county, your job is stable since there aren't too many budget problems. But depending on your department, you may have a better or worse time with things like culture, pay, and flexibility. It can definitely be a good place to work but there is room for improvement.

had a good time here, co workers are cool, work is pretty easy and not strenuous. Few odd ball guests here and there but nothing too bad. checking in books, shelving books, signing ppl up for library cards are the main things you do here

Got the job through the Fort Bend youth job program, it was a good exposure experience for what a day in the life of an EMT is like. Everyone was nice

Fort Bend County is a decent place to work. Given the complexity of systems and departments, it’s difficult to build relationships. Every decision made in the county involves politics which can make simple decisions/processes difficult.
