The work environment is very independent. You'll get out what you put in here. The success of the case in the OR is dependent upon the technician knowing their job and asking for help when they need it. Preparation and time management are key! Everyone at the corporate office is more than accommodating when it comes to supporting the technicians and helping them be successful. Most of your work will be on the road and in various hospital operating rooms. That being said, the hours can be very unpredictable and long. Management does a great job of noticing when you've had a hard day and trying to give you an easy schedule or the day off the next day. They really notice hard work and dedication (at least for me) and I was able to move up pretty quickly with effort and the right attitude!
The work environment is somewhat hostile on a local level. Of course they say "it's corporate" but in reality they use that and act like they don't make decisions on their own.

Don't do it. Your leadership will run you over when they mess up.
Pleasant, but long work hours. Lots of driving.
