SENIOR SYSTEM DESIGNER (Former Employee) - San Marcos, TX - December 16, 2019
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedOverall a great place to work. Management change affected the values of the work environment. The switch from custom to off the shelf equipment was what caused my job being terminated.

SENIOR SYSTEM DESIGNER (Former Employee) - San Marcos, TX - September 23, 2019
Since Playcore purchased Fountain People there has been a shift in focus. Custom design is no longer the main focus of the work there. Management is a little unclear as to how they want to move forward.

Checking for incoming material, daily production inspection. Attending meetings, improving methods of inspection. Excellent co-workers. Training was the most enjoyable part of the job.

Temp work and a foam carver sculpting foam (Former Employee) - San Marcos, TX - August 6, 2015
Not a bad job, i loved it. It was creative and challenging and i really felt like they had a good handle on processes. Problem occurred when asking about advancement and more of a growth position where theyd rather keep me where i was due to the nature at which i could produce for them. Good Company. going places, just takes a while to get there.
Pros
creative atmosphere, real sculpting job
Cons
some negative attitudes and increase in production requirements with a limited facility.
