Feeling fulfilled and appreciated at work is HUGE. Four Star has been like a second family to me and there’s so much camaraderie here, even on the smallest team in the company. I can see myself growing with the company for many years to come.

Management is not supportive of on-site staff. Often disrespectful of the property and to the staff. No training poor work life balance. Disappointed that I left a job I was mostly happy at and ended up as part of this company.

Bad overall experience at every level.High turn over in the employees. Not great benefits or pay for what I was involved with. Poor and unclear leadership.

They offer unlimited PTO after 90 days. No work/life balance. Expected to work 50+ hours per week and be paid for working 40 hours. Main office is very supportive. Old technology for industry. Policies are bizarre compared to industry norms. Communication is terrible between employees, vendors, and all in-between. High turnover, even for property management industry. Understaffed on site.

At first the company is great but there are a lot of cliques so if you aren't on the inside of those, you are isolated. Countless meetings that could be emails, no accountability to the tenured employees. They often play favorites and leave everyone else to be overworked. They don't respond to tenants in a timely manner and would rather make a joke of it instead of fixing the problem. If you're in on the cliques though, enjoy all the perks that come with it but the joy of that doesn't last for long.
