Typical work day included booking service with Uplink, satellite, and fiber providers via phone and email then compile information and email to proper parties. Receiving calls from clients requiring transmission of feeds. Contact clients for missing transmission information.
Managers were excellent at training employees so they could work indpendently and not be micro-managed.
Team work was paramount. Everyone in the department had to work together in order for things to run smoothly.
The hardest part of the job was paying attention to the details and at the same time it was the most enjoyable part. It kept the monotony at a minimum.
Our schedules were fairly flexible. Co-workers could make switches.
Schedule changed every two months.
