Fun Place To Start Your Career... But That's It

This place is great if you are just getting out of college and need some experience. If you are looking for a place to make a career, go somewhere else.

Keep looking.
Media Relations Assistant (Former Employee) –  Delray Beach, FLJanuary 1, 2018
You have been warned. Not everything is what it seems. Find a company that is willing to invest in you and your future. That place is not Fractl. This company still uses outdated, often flawed infographics to pitch writers. You are responsible for 10 pitches per day and 3 placements per month. The work in and of itself is very straightforward. The problem is writers don't take email pitches seriously. You'll find that a few do and then it's a dogfight to place with that particular writer because everyone else is trying to get their placements. Accept the fact that more than half your pitches will go to the SPAM box. Someone forgot to inform Fractl of its invention. Not a company with a long-term outlook and if they lose a client, that tends to happen, people get fired. And people get fired a lot at Fractl. Like all the time.

Challenging and Enjoyable
Project Manager (Current Employee) –  Delray Beach, FloridaApril 11, 2017
Every day at Fractl is a bit different. Between data analysis, project management, and ideation there's always a new and interesting challenge. The hardest part of the job is time management. There's a lot of work to do and juggling every aspect at once can be very challenging. The best part of the job is that we have the opportunity to learn about and work on a wide variety of interesting topics. Where else can I morph faces together, build an interactive quiz, and visualize statistics into graphs all in the same day?
Pros
doggy days, time off, work from home, coffee machine, foodie events

Great environment, great managers and clients. They work hard and are very creative. They seem to be changing and re-structuring their staff very often.

Cutting-edge agency with constant learning opportunity
Operations Manager (Current Employee) –  Delray Beach, FLApril 10, 2015
I've worked in a variety of SMB and enterprise-level companies, and Fractl is truly a diamond in the rough. You are given the freedom and autonomy necessary to perform well in a creative atmosphere, but also given the resources and help you need if you hit a snag. The executive team is comprised of experienced industry leaders that have already been through a successful acquisition with a previous company, which is comforting in a sector with so many startups and a job market that fluctuates wildly.

The atmosphere is fast-paced and you're expected to be a self-starter / voracious learner, so not everyone will survive here; however, if you're a motivated individual with a passion for creating content that is truly innovative, this is a great place to be. I look forward to coming into the office and working with my team on a daily basis, and that is not easy to find.

Condescending staff
Media Relations Associate (Former Employee) –  Delray, FLMarch 6, 2015
Although the employees tried to act like we were all a team, the staff always seemed up-tight, too serious, and also condescending at times (especially for an agency that is not reputable).

Would not recommend.
