Absolutely garbage place that’s ran like a daycare because management is too concerned about what they can do to make people work faster and harder than employees morale and wellness. Management works half days and half weeks while forcing production of 52+ hours a week. Just a circle of friends that go to church together running the place like their personal project while they are hardly around

Clean, productive environment to work and grow your career!

Very clean, climate controlled, warehouse with a supervisor and lead team that genuinely care about the associates. If you are looking to grow your career, this is a great place for internal growth, there are new positions being posted often that you can internally bid on, as well as opportunities to shadow any position. There is drama and the rumors can get quite imaginative, but that is to be expected at any workplace with at least 50 employees! And while there is some drama, almost everyone gets along on a day-to-day basis because we are viewed as one big family, and the supervisors really emphasize that and try to make sure everyone is comfortable to be themselves.

Pros

clean, climate controlled, part time and full time positions, lots of volunteer overtime hours, employee appreciation events and lunches multiple times every year, 401k and benefits, growth opportunities, inclusive of all people

Cons

wages could definitely be higher, but that is currently being reviewed by the company as far as I am aware

Boring

This place is good for people that like to do the same thing for 12 hrs a day (weekend shift) if you like to do something different everyday or want to move around this isn't the place for you. Pay is fine I started out at $16hr but I thought it wasn't fair that I just started and my friend worked there for a year and made less. Management and communication is a absolute joke, everyone says something different and they seem like they don't know what's going on. If you want to get ahold of human resources you will most likely have better luck trying to contact the FBI. Overall it's boring, the pay is fine, you can wear head phones but can't use your phone for those head phones. Have to put on hair net beard net shoe covers and gown 5 times a day and de gown 5 times a day gets old. The coworkers are fine most don't speak English.

Bad Management

Management generally does not care about employees or the quality of their product. Corners are cut regularly to meet quantity demands and when quality suffers, the employees are blamed instead of the culture that perpetuates the need to push out less than stellar medical devices (not a good feeling). High work ethic is punished by the low work ethic of others and the morally bankrupt company elite allows and encourages it with the lack of honest communication, fostering shift rivalry and blame shifting. Training is sub-par at best and negligent at worst.

Company may have made improvement, but there is still a great deal to do.

Site lacks effective training programs for managers and mid-level leadership. If you cannot learn on your own, you will struggle, and not perform to the appropriate level needed in a fast-paced environment. Interpersonal conflicts arise frequently and are not assessed in a method to prevent future issues from arising! Good morning, and smiles are not a management methodology! It’s a business, and not a social club!

Declining company culture

This used to be a very nice place to work. It used to have a sense of community and a strong people focused culture. Unfortunately, that culture has been replaced by that of our parent company, and it is now much more "corporate" and overtly profit driven. The pandemic response has only made things worse. Last year, the rolled out a new PTO policy in which all of our sick, personal, and vacation leave come out of the same pot. Then, they made it such that full time onsite employees who cannot do their jobs from home and who have taken the greatest risk during this pandemic are forced to spend their own PTO covering a quarantine period (which costs about 1/3 of a year's leave) while those who got to stay home and stay safe the whole time can simply work from home and bank their leave. This year, they've decided to cover up to 5 days a year for those up to date on vaccines and boosters. Their rationale for not covering anyone else is that the CDC says you are much less likely to get a "severe" case if you are up to date. That policy neglects the fact that there is still a high likelihood of a mild breakthrough case in spite of being boosted, and that we must quarantine whether our case is "severe" or not.On top of that, while we do have a good benefits package, the pay is not very competitive. It's about average for our industry.

Pros

Good benefits

Cons

Declining company culture, lackluster pay.

Employees don’t get pay raises. Toxic work environment. Over works employees. Morale and pay not a priority with HR & management

Poor pay and over works employees. Terrible morale. Employees get burned out and company does not do anything for long tenured employees to make them want to stay. Pay raises are once every 4yrs. Work environment is terrible

Pros

Good experience for someone young wanting to learn manufacturing processes.

Cons

Long hours, 6 days a week most the time. Terrible pay, Company does nothing for employees, Morale gets worse every year.

Non productive, current mgmt does not care if the place survives or not. Old run down equipment ,no support from most of the engineering staff.

Sinking ship, old building, moldy, floods, building could collapse at any time ,roof leaking, just seems like new company cares what happens to the future of the existing company

Pros

Above average pay, good retirement match

Cons

They don't care about the health of the worker. Bad company - union relationship

Find elsewhere

HR is absolute garbage. Management will be the reason you quit. The job itself is very boring, but most parts are easy to run. The pay is good but it doesn’t make up for the BS you gotta put up with.

Pros

Going home.

Cons

ONE 20 minute break. Management.

Management doesn't care

New management doesn't care about employees, they only care about #s. They don't give new hires a chance to be trained properly, so they are constantly tearing stuff up and senior operators take the blame. They give everyone the run around on important issues. The priorities in that place are completely off. Human resources is a joke. There's a reason why they can't keep people anymore and it's not because of the pandemic.

Pros

Pay

Cons

20 min break, useless management and hr

Between a rock and a hard place.

Little to no work life balance, unless on days or weekend shifts. 2nd shift 5:15pm -5:45 am (12 hr) is more a 3rd shift. A constant production push is the atmosphere, to bring any changes to hours worked or OT. A continuous flow of people leaving. Depending on department new hires usually last 2-3 hours or days. Understaffed. Most positions are sit down a few that are not. They try to appease people for shifts. Even with recent bonuses and incentives in pay. In my opinion, I would not recommend wasting my time here. Due to hours worked vs compensation. Insurance cost. I.E. (family plans) and work quality. Not worth for 29-33k Gross. They are not a bad company by far and have made little improvement but in the surrounding area there is ample opportunity that surpasses the atmosphere, pay and advancement available within this company. Do yourself a favor and invest more in you and your time.

Stable Company

The company has been in business for over 160 years - I like that stability. It's manufacturing so there isn't much flexibility. But the environment is very safe and clean.

Overall a fun place to work at.

Good company with good benefits, the same can’t be said for management, they are always reactive instead of being proactive. Good co-workers made the job enjoyable.

Good working atmosphere

Co workers are positive, light-hearted and supportive, treated like a valued member of the team. Management is concerned that workers have open communication and seem concerned to manage and solve problems.

Pros

Good working hours

Able to learn different jobs.

The company doesn’t recognize your values. But they will let you learn different jobs but will not pay you accordingly.I enjoyed working there but didn’t enjoy the amount of pay.I did several jobs but only got paid for one.Just felt I learned a lot but was not paid a lot.Left for better pay .

Pros

You can learn new things.

Cons

Don’t pay you for your worth.

Good stable company with nice colleagues

Klüber is a great place to work and provides many opportunities to work internationally. Since the company is small-ish, you can take on a lot of responsibility. The company has a very German, conservative culture, which can sometimes be frustrating.

Pros

Opportunities to be promoted

Cons

Conservative, male-dominated, slow-moving
