The environment was very friendly had a lot of regulars that would come in and request me I had a couple that would wait there until I arrived at work just so I could serve them I know I touched a lot of people by talking to them making them feel at home they always told the managers that were on how good of a waitress I was and how great the service I provided to them I love working for this company

It's either dead or slammed - no in between. Server's are expected to do dishes during their shift at server's wage so they can cut back on labor cost making it understaffed. Minimum server's each shift, no host, most times no fountain person either. Management does not handle stress well at all. It's nothing to be told you are stupid by GM, berated and mocked by management in front of co-workers. (been serving 20+ years, so I know I'm not stupid and not incapable of successfully serving). It is a different person every day that goes through this, kind of a rotation system. Only full timers are management, and they will not work with scheduling if you have a second job (although they tell you in the interview if you need full time to find a 2nd job). It's a rotating door as far as staff goes, rude co-workers, no teamwork at all. Guests are either very nice or absolutely the rudest people on earth - again, no in between. And EVERYBODY has a coupon. Run!

The culture at Friendly's is fantastic, but the work environment lacks organization due to poorly trained employees and managers.
