Terrible place to work great pay though.
Packer/Picker (Current Employee) –  Lawrenceville, GAJuly 11, 2019
Frito lay doesn't care about your family life, and they make you work overtime even when you are part time. If they are understaffed, they throw your job in your face and tell you they'll fire you if you don't work over.
Pros
pay
Cons
lack of compassion, Poor management, No time to be with family, Dont care about you being sick

Standup forlift/material handler (Current Employee) –  San Antonio, TXJuly 11, 2019
Great company. Great pay and benefits. Bonuses, company picnics, they feed us with catering. But management.... warehouse manager is a total... he doesn’t care about his people. The resources/supervisors they hire are kids right out of college. They have no idea what they are doing. And this is an opinion shared by the entire plant. If you can get past these kids not knowing what they’re doing, this is a good place to work.

WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE (Former Employee) –  Decatur, GAJuly 9, 2019
it was not a good company to work for. The management was poor. They over work the employees. The managers would steal from the company. It was not a comfortable work environment.

Utilities Specialist (Former Employee) –  Jacksonville, FLJuly 8, 2019
When I first started at FRito it was a great place. And just like many other great jobs it declined over time. They went from thinking of the employee to worried about labor and profits. Very slow at moving up and very low raises.

Its the job to have if you absolutely despise seeing your family. You will Work the schedule you don't want because everything is based on seniority. Vacation is based on it as well.

Enjoy your time off??
Route Sales Representative (RSR) (Former Employee) –  Murrieta, CAJuly 8, 2019
If work/life balance is important to you, this is the wrong company. Actually rate it 2 1/2 stars, not three. Good managers are like unicorns now. Benefits are good compared to many other companies, but if you are actually doing the job asked of you, you earned them. Asked to do the impossible too many times, with quite questionable management leadership.Job is much more stressful than many believe, until they start. Most often management consists of words, very little action. Often left to fend for yourself, so you better learn well during training. (15 years with company)

This was the worst good I never had.. management horrible!!!!! Lots of turnover and you can work until your hands bleed it’s never enough!!! No consideration for family when it’s a tragedy nothing you still get a point for going to a close family like uncle because of their no-fault policy terrible!!!! So glad to be gone!! STAY AWAY

Truck Driver (OTR) (Current Employee) –  Rancho Cucamonga, CAJuly 7, 2019
It’s definitely not your average trucking job prepare to unload your own trailers cause that is exactly what’s going to happen and your on a bidding system for them so it’s not like your given the best of runs

Long Haul Driver (Current Employee) –  West Valley City, UTJuly 6, 2019
Coming aboard I was super excited but once on my own realised there's a lot to the job. Management not available or concerned . The pay is well but the physicality of the job coupled with the stress isn't worth it.

Depending on what supervisor DSL you get really depends on your career at Frito Lay. If you have a good sales team you will be just fine if you have a bad one you’ll be the apple that goes.

Horrible
Casing Tech/ Production (Current Employee) –  Charlotte, NCJuly 5, 2019
HORRIBLE people there are nasty rude back stabbing. The money is the only reason why I'm still there. It is a prison camp HR is worthless as they just cover their own self. I complained all the time about dealing with my co workers lack of diversity nothing but black people. Im black nothing wrong with that but they are no other minorities that work on the production floor hence that's probably why there is so much conflict on the production floor. Overtime Overtime Overtime if you are low seniority you will be at the bottom of the list meaning you will be forced to work overtime majority through the week unless you are part-time or seasonal worker. Mean while the high seniority don't get forced to work over they continue to work the low seniority. Worst mistake I have made
Pros
money
Cons
Everything about this place is a con

Left due to personal situation.
Pros
Good opportunity to learn. Mostly by yourself working off shifts.

Packer (Former Employee) –  Wooster, OHJuly 3, 2019
Good money, but money isn't worth being mistreated. Pay isn't equal for everyone doing the same job. Don't make plans on your days off (if you get any) because they will tell you the day before that you have to work instead. When you're almost done with your shift they'll come tell you that you have to stay and work another 4 hours.

If your part time you dont get many hours which sucks. Lot of drama but if you keep to yourself you will be ok. The warehouse is very dirty and unorganized. Management is okay but they dont utilize the employees that actually want to work and need jours
