Enjoyed repairing variety of printers, fax machines and copiers.
Field Service Technician (Former Employee) – Denver, CO – February 1, 2016
Started out strictly as a printer repair technician which I loved doing. In time, as the printer repair business dwindled, I branched out and learned to repair fax machines and copiers. Copiers were especially challenging. Unlike, printers where a lot of parts are pre-manufactured or already to use, with copiers one has to tear down a fuser and replace all of the intricate parts which is extremely tedious. On the other hand, I enjoyed taking printers completely apart, repairing them and putting them back together again. Copiers are at least ten times more complicated to repair than printers.
Got to get out and meet a lot of customers at different locations.
Business Development Manager (Former Employee) – Aurora, CO – November 19, 2017
This is a place that is a family owned business and great if you fit in. Very traditional work place. They have a great product line. The hardest part of the job was the lack of a great workplace environment!
High Stress job, however I like that. Take incoming calls for copier repairs and dispatching technicians.
Customer Service/Dispatch (Former Employee) – Aurora, CO – October 29, 2015
Fast paced job which is what I like. Working at keeping our customers happy. We did have some that took some pampering. Not many though. They were in a high stress environment also. You sell copies and the machine won't work means no incoming money.
Pay was decent at the time. Gained a few long time friends.
Job was too far. In Aurora but I stuck it out for 3 years.
