I didn't leave. Another company, Legacy healthcare, bought the facility I was working in and provided in house therapy, keeping me and my co-workers on, as the facility management was pleased with our work. I quit working for Legacy in December 2017 due to difficulty keeping up with the physical demands, including painful thumbs and tendency to tear anterior rib and leg muscles while lifting heavy patients and/or their limbs.

Our employer did not differentiate between vacation and sick days. We were given 40 hours paid time off for 1 year of employment, 10 days after 2 years, and 20 days after 4 years. I believe it was 30 days after 7 years.
