Baggage Handler (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GAMarch 16, 2019
Alot of people complain about management, but honestly if you do your one job and be in time there wont be any problems. Be grown up, look professional, be ready to do the job you signed up for.
Pros
Public Transit Accesible, Hours Available, Food Available on site, and plenty of coworkers.
Cons
Some slow days, Hard on the knees, Pay is less than competitive but more than it used to be

Bad. Apply to G2 if you just need some simple cash.
Bag Runner (Former Employee) –  Los Angeles, CAMarch 14, 2019
Not a good company to work under. Management is a joke at the LAX airport. The job is simple to do but yet my co workers still end up being fired for not doing a simple job. Some supervisors come in and dont know the operations or lack the effort to do the work. Many people come threw this company to gain airport experience and quickly leave. If you can tolerate the company management and workers then its not so bad but anything is better than this company.
Pros
Stable job
Cons
Healthcare, unorganized, lack of uniforms, no real reason to stay as a long term employee, bad workers

I gained supervisor training, loved my coworkers but too much drama. Hardest part of the job was trying to work with the new technology and having to deal with all the drama.
Pros
Hours
Cons
Drama

Productive and Busy, but few benefits and low pay
Customer Service Agent (Current Employee) –  Windsor Locks, CTFebruary 15, 2019
No yearly raises and a minimum wage pay, though including tips given by passengers, not as stable an income as one might want. Hours are, for the most part, fixed/established based on availability, though management can ask workers to come in on days off if busy. Management staffs poorly, especially on busy days with unpredictable work environment. The job itself is easy: push passengers in wheelchairs and assist them in getting to wherever they need to be.

Although to be fair, it IS a privately contracted company.
Pros
30 min lunch break, can sit down when not busy
Cons
minimum wage, poor staffing and management, unpredictable hours, no yearly raises

Customer Service (Former Employee) –  Morrisville, NCFebruary 15, 2019
Dirty break room full of roaches!! Trash always running over. No raises ever low pay. Gossiping managers
Managers don't care about well being of employees.
High turnovers. If your dumb uneducated they leave you alone. If your smart with a former career theirs jealousy running rampant. Only the losers would be stuck working in a company like this for over ten years.
Winners in life leave within two years or less
Pros
Long breaks when not busy, some weekends off once you been there for awhile, customers is what motivates
Cons
Too many to list!!!

Shady
Prospective Ramp Agent position (Former Employee) –  College Station, TXFebruary 12, 2019
The only thing straight forward about interviewing with G2 Secure Staff was applying through Zip Recruiter. Smoke and mirrors interviewing process.

You should ask applicants UP FRONT with a screening questionnaire if they are willing to:

* Bid for part-time shifts
* Work split shifts
* Be available mainly for holidays and weekends
* Be willing to travel to Chicago for 3 WEEKS in order to train for this "opportunity."

You should tell prospective applicants that:

* Only part-time work is available.
* You will have to bid for shifts.
* That this will be a group interview and you may have to wait 1.5 to 2 hours just to interview only to find out that logistically this would be impossible to factor in another part-time job, or college (what college student would be available to take time off from school for 3 WEEKS to train for this?)

Be honest about this so applicants aren't wasting your time or theirs.
Pros
Zip Recruiter application process was time-efficient and straight forward.
Cons
Nothing else about this interviewing process was straight forward.

If you like being around good people, this is a great job for you.
Wheelchair Agent (Former Employee) –  Los Angeles, CAJanuary 25, 2019
This is a great company to be a part of because of the people involved in the company. There are a lot of great people and the daily vibe at work is awesome. Also, the people you meet and help along the way give way to a nice experience all around. Management can be unorganized at times but all & all it's a not too strenuous job and I recommend it to any and everybody that would like to be apart of the airport community.
Pros
Fun work environment, great people, work not overwhelming.
Cons
Unorganize management, pettiness

Terrible Management
Wheelchair Attendant (Current Employee) –  Boston, MAJanuary 17, 2019
Management does not communicate
They over work their employees and refuse to give time off. You can not acquire paid time off (PTO) until your year anniversary and it's usually just a few hours- ex (11 hours) which would only be one day paid.
Very inconsiderate of their employees time, especially those with families and illnesses.

The environment of the airport and the passenger interaction is sometimes rewarding, that's the only good thing I can think of, personally
Pros
healthcare offered, 401k

not the greatest company
Assisted Living Aide (Former Employee) –  Boston Logan International Airport, MAJanuary 14, 2019
Been there for 10 years as a mobility assistant in Boston Logan int airport. the supervisors I had during my time were great to me. My main gripes where the inconsistent lunch hours and clocking out times but its the airport and travel seasons and busyness tend to go up and down as the nature of the job,as far as the tips you can earn can be as low as zero or as high as $100+ in a single day depending on the time of year.
Pros
good environment
Cons
inconsistent lunch breaks and clock out times

Delta Ramp Lead Agent/Trainer (Former Employee) –  Alcoa, TNJanuary 4, 2019
This is a trial by fire atmosphere where after you've completed slathers of computer training you face a very physical and demanding daily regiment of heavy lifting and paperwork(if you're one of the few with half a brain). opportunity for advancement is bountiful, but feels like selling your soul a little bit as the responsibility increase is not proportionate to the pay increase.
