Study your officers rounds should be made every 45 minutes to an hour. Learn them take time getting to know them for real. Give them a break when they don't exspect one. Ask them how they're doing and there family's. You have to get to know your business as well as your officers. They're on the frontline all the time. Show them that you appreciate them. Take time out with each one, take them to lunch, bunch or dinner. One day at a time.

Improve schedules. Take hiring standards in a different direction. Stop hiring people still in the military as they create the most problems with their callouts which is leading to frustrated employees quitting.
Be more bureaucratic and fire employees that fail to follow callout procedures repeatedly.

Pass a new policy that would allow armed guards ( once qualified) to carry either their personal or company provided pistols. Revolvers are just so outdated. It takes away from the uniform.
