Ultrasound Zone Operations Leader-Northeast Zone in Leesburg, VA
on May 17, 2018
Entire career spent field based. Worked out of my house. Typical day is always different with any number of issues that could and did arise. My management, overall, was very good. They were mentors who allowed me to grow and develop into the manager I am today.

Good life work balance and great management. but working on old technology and code base. Maintaining and minor feature addition for existing products would be the main work
Program Coordinator, The George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC

Disastrous to say the least. Zero support, fear driven leadership at all levels, openly talk poorly about customers on calls and in meetings. Horrible place to work.

Ge makes procedures to make a vision of doing something, but never is interested in the truth. Everytime it's a good presentation and then no responsibility for result.Starting from big things with manipulating of revenue drops , poor customer orientation, and ending with employee relations. You will have good coffee in the office and no interest in employee situation, you will hear about corporate culture and open communication, but HR will meet you only to punish, you will have multiple procedures about safety but receive no help when you are unsafe, you will hear about compliance, but there were cases of firing people after opening complaint case, you will hear about following labor law, but it's just about finding an article to punish or fire. HR team is the most result oriented team in the company, if result is needed HR will garble facts, will organize lying witnesses among employees in the court. The good thing is that HR does a lot of mistakes in their paper processes, so the truth can be find through them. And yes, you will have employee surveys because company makes show that is interested, coffee machines and trainings on stress management will be done. They will not lie about salary, but check it carefully, because they often make mistakes

Growth of the company is quite slow, and opportunities for engineers to work on new product development occur, albeit quite slowly as it takes a long time for the next design cycle. Pay is ok compared with other jobs in the area, not the best but not the worst.
