Gallant has offered me nothing less then a professional and career nurturing place of employment. Working at Gallant is a job like no other jobs. The wide range of services that they offer for our community is inspiring. The culture of the workplace is phenomenal. They genuinely care not about just about their clients, but their staff as well. DSP (Direct Support Professional) in Oakland, ME
I have really enjoyed working for Gallant Therapy Services. They have allowed me to grow within the company and provided a lot of support along the way. I have great supervisors that I can go to if I need support and the management here is wonderful. Ryan is a great person to work for and has continued to support me and the work I do and is always there when he is needed. Highly recommend working here. I really enjoy the work I do here and enjoy coming to work every day knowing I am surrounded by other people who love their job.
Occupational Therapist in Portland, ME
Everyone that works at GTS is extremely nice and helpful. My supervisors are wonderful and have always made me feel supported personally and professionally. I love working with my clients and helping to make a positive difference in their lives.
While I enjoyed the actual work of supporting clients in their varied independence goals - working on a defined list of job skills, emotional skills, social skills, etc., it quickly became apparent that the company was trying to shoulder it's responsibility on the workforce. E.g. duties of the job involve driving clients to different community locations to work on above goals. Yet, the employee is required to pay for the gas out of their own pocket. It quickly becomes an "I'm paying to work here" scenario.
