Nothing (Former Employee) –  NothingApril 15, 2019
A company in Singapore is posting fake job ads using this info. They will then text you repeatedly offering outrageously inflated salaries to get you to call them. Indeed should remove them.

GMHC was a good place to work.
Receptionist/Office Assistant (Former Employee) –  New York, NYMarch 28, 2019
A typical day at work would be filling and creating Rise and Match programs. Answering phones and scheduling appointments in Outlook. It is a fast paced environment with lots of different clients with different needs that need to be met. Hardest part of the job was juggling phones setting appointment and dealing with demanding clients, Some clients had no manners and were quick to be mean. Not all but a few. Most enjoyable part of the job was getting a sincere thank you when you helped someone and they truly appreciated it.
Pros
There were some free pizza lunches.
Cons
No break when working part time.

Senior Level Care Coordinator (Former Employee) –  New York, NYMarch 22, 2019
Management is incompetent, lacking decision making, and truly thrives in an atmosphere of crisis all the time. Lots of retaliation instead of being supportive of staff. CEO does not manage well the agency. They all stay in their executive suites and are out of touch with what does on at the agency. Nepotism at it's best.
Pros
The Clients
Cons
Very little advancement

I think it's a good vibe overall due to real genuine caring for the population by work staff; however work quality widely varies depending on department.

Stressful Unfair Workplace
Staff (Former Employee) –  New York, NYDecember 28, 2017
A work day at this company is stressful. They preach one culture but practice something else. You are not allowed to disagree you will be put on the trouble making list and eventually they will find a reason to dismiss you. If you jump when told and don't question no decisions you will be promoted. They also tend to put staff against each other.
Pros
Ability to help clients and provide a service
Cons
Dealing with managment, the lack of well deserved raises and atmosphere to express opinion without targeted.

Care Manager II (Current Employee) –  New York, NYAugust 10, 2017
The day consists of monitoring individuals for ongoing healthcare adherence. I have learned to work with a diverse population. The management is very informative and supportive. The culture of my agency workplace is inclusive. The most difficult part of monitoring a client is maintaining updated information. A client is always relocaating of revising the contact information. The most enjoyable component of my job is witnessing clients achieve their goals.
Pros
diversity
Cons
capped salaries
