Reviews for Customer Service Representative in GEICO
Its an okay place to work
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) - Chevy Chase, MD - December 5, 2018
If you are cool with management then you have nothing to worry about. At times its like you cant find anyone to help you when you need help. They send emails showing what you aren't doing compared to what someone is doing. Its just to stressful now.

Interesting Place Lol
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Springfield, VA - December 17, 2022
The compensation at GEICO for an individual with no degree and minimal experience is adequate to start and there are avenues to grow that for sure. The managers I had were amazing. There is a lack of a company vision and sense of direction. There was a random merger of departments, which now saw service representatives going from managing one department to four unique departments with no additional compensation. Employees were laid for not meeting the company vision, however there is no vision with this company or at least one that has been clearly stated and understood by the masses of the workforce. Elevation to management is few and far between. If you would like to be a mentor or trainer, that is a lateral move not a vertical move that comes with additional compensation (makes no sense lol). As a stepping stone job for a year or two, it gets the job done and gives your resume a boost. Otherwise, I do not recommend long term employment. Employee turnover rate is very high.
Pros
Compensation & Benefits, Supportive Managers/Supervisors
Cons
Lack of Direction, High Turnover, Lack of Vertical & Exponential Growth Opportunities

Love working from home
Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) - Lakeland, FL - June 7, 2023
I really enjoy this job. Great benefits and very chill management. Workplace culture is great and you get to meet a lot of people with many different backgrounds. After training you get to work from home, which is great in some aspects and could be better in other ways.
Pros
lots of PTO, wfh
