Great Opportunity
Manager of Operations (Current Employee) –  Atlanta, GAJanuary 30, 2019
Overall the company is fine. However being governed by France, there is a major disconnect in what is expected (France) and what the company (Atlanta) can provide. I believe if they paid more attention to their process and implemented them on a daily basis, they would more likely be a key major player in the software and banking field (at least in the US). WAY TO MANY MEETINGS (Via Skype) AND NOTHING GETTING DONE.
If you are a motivated, results driven person, this is not the place for you.
Pros
benefits and compensation
Cons
too many meeting and to many layers of management that don't get anything done.

Nothing to say
Vault Associate (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GANovember 15, 2018
The money is good but this is not a company for people that have families that they want to spend time with. You are told that you will work for 5 and volunteer weekends but when the weekends come you are told last minute that you have to work all weekend. They will say its only this week but then it goes on for months. The longest that i have ever had to work was for 4 months straight only to have time off if i used my vacation.

Lack of communication
Section Leader (Former Employee) –  Austin, TXSeptember 15, 2018
There are many valuable members however, the lack of communication and eagerness for upper management to take on more tasks puts unnecessary strain on all project team members. Most of the work effort is being spent on fixing issues associated with previous projects and the lack of management support presents a culture where lower level teams will struggle with having the time necessary to complete current and future tasks.
Pros
Learning Experience; Travel
Cons
Management; Resource allocation; Over working team members

Great place start off your career
Business Office (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GAAugust 16, 2018
Overall, this is a great company to gain experience in many different avenues like manufacturing, project management, logistics, technical things, and change control, but management has really gone down hill since we have been purchased by another company, There is a lack compassion for production and they are what keeps us going so they should get treated with the most respect and they are not. I work in the office so although i avoid most of the production drama, the lack of inclusion as to what deals sales/marketing makes and how that is going to effect production is very disappointing.

Amazing diverse colleagues but management can't see the forest for the trees
Employee (Current Employee) –  AtlantaAugust 29, 2018
Lack of communication of strategic direction. When suggestions of strategic direction is provided to achieve department / organization objectives is provided there is no feedback. No communication other than directives which do not directly correlate with professional objectives set forth in review. Lack of understanding of scope of responsibilities by direct report resulting in sabotage, efficiency inability, redundancy, chaos, and lack of control. Obvious favoritism. Low morale. High turn over rate. Nostalgic management is spot on while new management is lost grasping for straws leaving many aspects in auto pilot with no direction.
Pros
Diverse culture, knowledgeable intelligent colleagues who share knowledge.
Cons
Lack of communication from upper management, low moral, turn over rate

Production Scheduler/Planner (Former Employee) –  Montgomeryville, PAFebruary 1, 2019
It was a great company to work for and I would tell everyone that is offered a job there to take it. A typical day starts with a production meeting on the production floor.

Sales (Current Employee) –  USMay 27, 2018
This is a French owned and ran company...contra to USA standards. Senior Management could care less about US workers, middle management has no backbone, employees are severely underpaid regardless of location or business unit. A frustrating place to work...so do NOT do it. Do your research...stocks plummeted in 2017 for a reason...lack of vision, lack of inclusion, lack of attention to employees.
Pros
If you are a foriegn National...a good fit
Cons
Management at all levels

Over worked and no room for advancements within the company . 7days of non stop work weeks which leaves no time for family. If your working on the production floor .However if you don’t have kids this may be the job for you .The money is okky.

Working at Gemalto is stress that shouldn't be there. The heads don't care about you, you are replaceable, they don't care about your life outside of work, and drama follows this company.

lots of project base work where you can improve productivity in different areas through elimination of waste. Good career structure where the career path was broken down into stages.
Pros
each year you can learn new things and go up the ladder

If you are in need of a job or a stepping stone then go for it but you'll be disappointed if you want to make this a career.
Maintenance Technician (Current Employee) –  Atlanta, GAOctober 13, 2018
Lack of advancement. Lack of training. Mandatory 7 day work week for months on end and then you are chastised for wanting to take a day and spend time with family and friends. Management can never get the operation running smoothly and plays the blame game when things go awry, which is everyday.
Very high turnover rate. This company will hire tons of temporary employees, improperly train them and then fire them because they cannot meet production quotas only to repeat the cycle over and over again. Maintenance has to basically run the machines because operators are improperly trained.
Favoritism is rampant with upper level and middle management having improper relationships with production workers. Human Resource manager is a joke and shows favoritism as well. Could be a great company because it is very diverse but the negatives just shadows all of that. All in all if you need a job and want to pad your resume, go for it but you have been warned!!
Pros
Competitive pay and benefits. Bonuses if you get one.
Cons
mandatory 7 day work week for months on end. New age sweat shop. Management doesn't have a clue

Great company culture
Key Accounts Director (Former Employee) –  Austin, TXMarch 8, 2018
The company culture is very positive and everyone looks forward to helping out. Everyone is of a positive mindset. Instead of only answering your questions they also show you where you can get more info and help yourself to be more successful the next time.
Pros
The company culture. Everyone is part of the team and is very willing to pitch in to do their part.
Cons
The pharmacy coverage is VERY expensive for drugs that don't have a generic equivalent.

Assessment
Call Center Representative (Former Employee) –  Pasadena, CAMay 15, 2018
I gave the company a middle ground rating because I wasn't employed long enough to give a fair assessment of it's core values.
I have nothing negative to say about my tenure and am grateful to have been employed.
