I personally didn't want to leave. I absolutely loved working for GDIT. I was laid off, which is not an uncommon thing to happen. My last day there, I told my supervisor and co-workers,"the only way I will leave is if you drag me out of the building by my heels". I miss it.

I left because my husband is military so we had to move but I would have left gdit anyway because the job becomes repetitive and we should always struve for better. Also they didn’t give us raises. And I had been there going on three years.

It is the one company that I have ever worked where everyone in HR treats you as though you and your coworkers ARE the enemy. I left for greener pastures after HR threatened to terminate me over seeing them without an appointment, and that's when I truly knew that I made a mistake in ever working there.
