Financially, I'm sure that GM's future will be very bright. As for the future of the employees themselves, if we're being honest about it, their future is very bleak. People are going to continue to be laid off from their jobs at GM across the U.S., and the ones who actually get to stay are going to get screwed with lousy contracts that make their daily lives more and more miserable. The company itself will be around forever, but unless you already have FIFTY YEARS OF SENIORITY, your future as an employee out there is going to be a nightmare. And that's the truth that a lot of people don't want to hear or don't want to admit. There is no such thing as a bright future for newer employees out there. Not anymore.
