I filled out the necessary information during the application process and once I was done I was immediately informed that I needed to take a 90 minute assessment.
The assessment was more about morale, ability to reason, and basic attention to detail.
About 2 days later I was contacted via e-mail and informed that I needed to take a 60 minute mechanical aptitude test using a computer and not a smart phone.
The test was very technical but also consisted of common sense and basic reasoning questions.
After completing a application, I had to pass a online assessment. Once I passed, I had to also go to a onsite location and take a physical assessment. It don’t matter about your experience in a manufacturing environment. Both test were common sense and you must pay attention. -Detroit Michigan

No online assessment. You take time out of your schedule, go to the plant, take a test, and wait 6 months to hear anything if you passed.
There were no online assessment at the time of my employment.
