I enjoyed working with a diverse group of people
Registered Nurse (Former Employee) –  Bellevue, NESeptember 4, 2017
Work was fast paced and always had different things going on. I learned a lot about asthma, ADHD and managing patients that were high acuity. Management was good and I really enjoyed my coworkers. The hardest part of my job was giving immunizations. I loved all the families I got to meet and take care of.

Great teaching floor
RN (Former Employee) –  Augusta, GAAugust 3, 2017
This floor no longer exists. I started work here as a GN. I learned from the RN's, resident physicians, nursing assistants, and private physicians. All were eager to teach and I was eager to learn. It provided me with a great knowledge base which I have continued to build on.
Pros
the teaching

Poor management.
Appointment Scheduler (Former Employee) –  Naperville, ILSeptember 2, 2015
I would schedule appointments from the time the office opened until the end of shift. The most enjoyable part of the day was working with the doctors and nurses. The office manager was a very pleasant woman to work for. The hardest part was keeping calm and patient when dealing with irate parents in person or over the phone.
Pros
Free lunches that medical salesmen brought in.
Cons
Short to non-existant lunch breaks.

Medical Surgical, Registered Nurse (Former Employee) –  Des Moines, IAMarch 20, 2015
While i learned a lot as a new graduate nurse, I never had intentions of staying on the General Pediatric floor. It was a great place of employment while I was there. I enjoy the foundation it gave me to move on to critical care units.
