General Shale does not offer sick time, however, salaried employees do not have to use paid time off in lieu of sick days. So the reality is, you get paid for your sick days.

Strong. Wiernerberger is a very strong/successful parent company for General Shale. WB is the largest brick manufacturer, worldwide.

In my area, its a household name. General Shale contributes a lot to the communities it services (sponsors little league teams, Habitat for Humanity, events at the animal shelters, etc.). I am proud to work for a company like General Shale.
