Fun place to work, free lunches, and a family atmosphere
Licensed Practical Nurse (Former Employee) – Reston, VA – December 8, 2016
It was my first job working in a small family practice. I was trained on all aspects of working in a doctors office. I had come from a skilled nursing facility but I was so thrilled when I was given the opportunity to make a change. The head nurse was very nice and believed in me from the very beginning. She was confident I would do great she stated it is very similar but just a different skill set, she was right. I learned to draw blood, order various lab test, obtain patient history, administer immunizations to both adults and newborns. The patient's ranged from new born to early 60's. One benefit is the patient's for the most part were healthy with the exception of acute illnesses.
Family like atmosphere, free lunches weekly, discounts on cosmetic procedures
late nights, poor pay
