Genesis Community Health is a Florida 501 c 3 non-profit organization created to promote and provide health care to people of all economic levels, with special sensitivity to the needs of economically disadvantaged people of diverse cultural backgrounds in and around Palm Beach County. Genesis Community Health is an access point of care for patients who traditionally do not have adequate access to the health care system. Genesis has received funds from the Quantum Foundation, Palm Healthcare Foundation and the Allegany Franciscan Ministries.

Genesis Community Health was formed in 2009 in response to a community needs assessment that identified Boynton Beach as an area of need and that there was a severe lack of access to primary care for residents. This need was based upon evaluation of services available, high incidence of poverty and uninsured in the area, and high usage of the emergency room for primary care services. In 2015, Genesis Community Health expanded and moved its primary offices to Bethesda Hospital East, in a space adjacent to the Emergency Room, 2815 South Seacrest Blvd., Boynton Beach, FL 33435.Show less
