Driver/Laborer (Former Employee) - Fullerton, CA - January 18, 2020
This is the place to be nevermind on wht the haters on here are talkin about experience it for yourselves. I would still be there if i didnt get fired for messing up but it was my fault and not the company. They gave me a numerous amount of chances to get right but i blew it. Other than tht this place is the place for anyone with a class b L to be at.
CDL B Truck Driver (Current Employee) - Baltimore, MD - December 24, 2019
To me the company could be more better if they organize there work load and have a system to load and get out of bulid more efficiently. It's time where u cant leave on time because of lack of time control and non willingness to do job on driver and warehouse end.
Not for everyone work is too hard mandated to work 6 days a week unfair selection of routes to run management unsensitive for what you do you're going to work for this company make sure prepared to work long hours not an hourly employee which is difficult to understand
Productive empoyer with a chance to make good money
Delivery Truck Driver (Current Employee) - Virginia - November 20, 2019
I have enjoyed my time here at Genesis. The job is easy and quick to pick up. Its a great place to earn quick cash for a Class B driver. Sometimes, the route requires a long drive. However, its pretty easy work.
Had to load your truck. Paid by the route, not the hour. If product was late getting to the warehouse, you were stuck waiting before you could start your run. No extra pay for the wait. Freight not driver friendly at all. Night work. 15-20 stops. Pick up empty trays at each delivery location, so you are constantly moving and working around the empties which are in the way. Too many stops on the truck.
Genesis is a good company if you like working on your own. Bad company due to no matter how good of a job you do, you will NOT get a raise. They do not give raises for any reason and do not offer benefits.
Responsible for loading trucks; Ensure that daily inventory is correct; create customer orders; Drive thirty miles to route; Pick up and deliver old and new products; Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle
Stay away. Very disorganized, inconsiderate, pass the buck type place, young wannabe , incompetent managers who have no consideration for real driver problems or concerns. Delivering bread and bananas to 7-11s in a 26 foot refrigerated truck 12 hours a day for 750 bucks a week is not worth it. No overtime and constant mistakes on driver pay checks. High turnover
First off, this job is for people that really need the money but it's not even worth the pay. The hours are horrible and you are constantly lifting crates and counting items in a deep freezer. You spend about 3-4 hours at a miserable depressing warehouse, then you load your truck and deliver heavy items to 7 Eleven stores all day. Some clerks at the store are extremely rude.
