I don’t think there has been anything particularly difficult about the job. I’m the type of person that likes to be busy at work...I’m getting paid and I hate feeling like I’m ‘riding the clock’. Even in my small town Genoa location, there is always work to be done. So maybe that’s difficult? Not to me...it’s a healthy challenging work environment.

Agreed the lunch breaks would be nice if they were an hour. But 30 min breaks are becoming the standard. Awesome hours, no weekends, no overtime, with several paid holidays and even additional days off for traditionally non observed Federal holidays (like Easter Monday) if your center observes it.

I’ve had great management at my store. We are a close knit group that is more like family. The job is constantly pushing you to achieve, but in a positive way (not in a ‘shoving papers and statistics down your throat’ kind of way). We know our numbers, and we set goals for daily prescriptions, but there’s no inordinate amount of pressure. I work in a small town location and there’s always plenty to do so it’s challenging, but management is supportive and so are coworkers.

A lot of PRN pharmacist jobs for Genoa move between multiple stores. For example the PRN pharmacist for my store will cover all stores in Virginia. However they don't travel between states, not sure why it states ME and Philadelphia.
