He could benefit from listening more to front line reps from service to lab. Listening to mid-level managers, Team Leads and their feedback, verses too often turning to his fellow leadership team may have pulled leadership out of their rut. A CEO In the laboratory industry should have better prepared the company for declining reimbursements by getting ahead of that two plus years ago, and should have been allocating funds for a real CRM, over home-grown systems. GDX's infrastructure from IT to pricing should have had been addressed, planned-strategized, and executed long before the pricing restructure of August 2017.
I would say give the employee the opportunity to speak and defend themselves in any situation good or bad, and take the time to listen to them. That way you wont loose so many good employees.
