Slightly above average warehouse pay in general, but this needs to be raised nationally. Problem start from the top, meaning, very little interaction. Dock/surrounding areas has close to zero heating elements in winter, it gets COLD, and close to zero AC in the summer. Feels like there isn't enough workers, or the management is skewed, or pretty much certain veteran workers just don't care. Senior workers have it easy, very little demand - holds other workers back. Management at the supervisory level is cool, warehouse management- decent, upper management seems elitist. Warehouse workers HAVE to come in on snow days, upper management just doesn't show up. OK environment. System needs to be updated. Unionized, so workers slack off and don't care. Expect to be on your feet and walking 5+ miles easily everyday.
Not a ton of micro management, OK benefits, decent hours for most full time employees (m-f)
difficult to move up, office management neglects warehouse, no space for freight (its a warehouse, you need space!), favoritism
