I was not set up for success
There was a lack of communication between departments at Geometry Global. My boss was located in a different city and did not provide actionable feedback on my performance. I ended up taking on more work than she wanted me to. Areas where I needed to improve were passive-aggressively brought to my attention, whereas I prefer blunt critique.
