Upper Management out of touch with reality

I'm not sure if they just don't care, or if they have no idea what they are doing, but they do not pay enough to be competitive in the local market. They also do not supply cost of living increases or merit raises, but expect you to do the work of 2-3 people consistently. The benefits may as well just be an idiot tax because they are expensive and hardly cover anything. They don't even match 401k at all. The clients they work for think they are excuse making jokes, and the local management teams that actually do care and fight for the client and their employees get stone walled and shut down at every turn. Jobs and accounts feel uncertain every single day and the hiring can't come close to keeping up with the turn-over cause they are forced to hold good people back in bad positions.
