Good place to get your feet wet in the indusrty, but not a good place to stay in.
Lead Quality Control Analyst (Current Employee) – Industry, CA – March 17, 2015
A typical day at GFF would be calibrating the lab instruments before lab samples would need testing. Testing and analyzing products samples for total acid, salt, pH, viscosity, and temperature. Running sensory evaluations (visual, taste, smell, and texture) on the products would also be conducted. Checking incoming raw materials from receiving, ensuring that all materials used in our products meet our quality specifications. Delegating tasks to ensure efficiency among the lab and the rest of the quality department. Management at GFF was very frustrating at times. A majority of the decision making is one-sided, where opinions from the rest of the team are quickly over-looked. Co-workers were great - very easy to work with and get along. The most difficult part of the job would have to be working every weekend. The most enjoyable part of the job would be working with great people, from all departments, with the exception of management.
Managment, working on the weekends
