GFI Digital Inc. Careers and Employment

I enjoyed working at GFI digital i started early in January of 2018 and was unfortunately let go in August of 2020. If I was to offer advice to someone interviewing at GFI is go in with an open mind. But beware they preach "open" book Financials but failed to share them since JANUARY. We were all told everything was on the up and up that there was no chance of a possible lay off. They LIED they've done more lay offs this month than they have done in the last 5 years. Countless employees like myself were shocked many of us had years invested and we were tossed out in the cold with a severance package and told to get out. My advice to managment is STOP LYING TO YOUR EMPLOYEES AND FEEDING INTO THE FAIRYTALE THAT THIS COMPANY IS STRONGER THAN EVER.

Smoke and Mirrors

This place appeared to be well put together and organized from an IT perspective but once you actually get the job you quickly realize it is a complete mess. Each client uses different backup solutions, server OS, and the worst of all is the documentation. The documentation is a joke and will be of almost zero use for anyone who needs to work on a remotely complex issue, even on clients they have had for several years. There is more but in summary, they are just a mess.

Not what they say it is. Be cautious.

Unless you have a strong list of lease ends, you won’t make money here. Past reps have managed to do most of those and leave. Managers are paranoid and not very professional. One managers wife works for him, so leads and good accounts are unfairly redirected.

Very cool place to work.

Fun place to work they work with anything you have going on. A very fun place you get to go be hide the scenes on a lot of things. But i love it here.

Good experience

I truly enjoyed working for GFI. Great people who really take care of their employees. Unfortunately, i was let go for having an accident in a company vehicle.
