Sales Representative in Washington, DC
on May 10, 2018
A typical day at work would include pre call planning before visiting physician offices using specific data relative to the specific office call. Generally 8-10 calls are visited daily. Specific sales call strategies are implemented on each call, based strategy data for specific call. Managers ensure that representatives implement strategies for each call. GSK epitomizes a diverse workplace culture for all to succeed. The hardest part of job was having executive leadership to alter sales strategies in a timely manner. The most enjoyable part of job was working with GSK teammates and making a difference in the lives of customers and patients that we serve on a daily basis
Biopharmaceuticla Product Sciences Intern in Upper Providence, PA

I was a PhD summer intern working in Biopharmaceutical Sciences. Because of Covid, the position ended up being remote which took away many of the pros of doing an internship in terms of networking and meeting people. Overall, I learned a lot about the company and the Pharma industry in general.

Good Benefits. Standard for line of work and industry. Promotional process is very slow and competitive. Smaller biotechs will offer higher salaries and purpose to come to work. GSK will provide stronger benefits and overall knowledge.
Lead CRA in Rtp, NC
on November 11, 2021
The colleagues that become your lifelong friends is the best thing about working at GSK. Advancement is given to those who have an "in" with somebody. Rarely given to the most deserving candidate. The goal of the new management was to rid GSK of all of the "old heads" and they were successful. The problem is with the removal of all of the "old heads" went the knowledge. It is disheartening to see all of my colleagues leave. There is definitely not a work life balance. Average work is 9-11 hours a day and as people leave it gets worse. The atmosphere is same as a CRO.
