Good to work in the corporate functions. I learned a lot in my years here, more than I would anywhere else. You get to work cross functionally, and get exec exposure.

This company is extremely accepting to everyone! Everyone is friendly and easy to talk to. There is room for growth in this company. Overall, great place to work!

I was on an internal team at GLG (not Client Solutions/Research which is what most new hires go into), so this review is more for people evaluating a role in engineering/strategy/etc. Things started off exciting but my experience declined when it became clear that upper management bit into a little more than they could chew and my team's work got de-prioritized. It didn't happen all at once, it was a slow chipping-away process (first vice presidents left, then budgets got tightened, then some people got laid off, etc).Experience depends on things outside your control (i.e. how good is your manager? And if you're not in CS/Research, how much does upper management actually care about what your team is doing?). The happiest people at GLG seemed to be able to carve out a functional niche for themselves doing work that they enjoyed. That's probably a truism for most jobs, although it's especially important in internal roles at GLG where advancement/mobility is slow and you could probably get paid more elsewhere.
Council Member in remote

As a council member GLG sends you projects that primarily fit within your expertise and you provide availability to the end-customer for a call. Calls are very professional and I tend to learn from every call and I enjoy sharing my knowledge, experiences, and insight.
