Marketing, Publicity, and Web Manager (Current Employee) – Los Angeles, CA – March 20, 2019
I really enjoy working at Global Eagle Entertainment. When I first began the job, there were a lot of backlog projects. Helping the team to complete all of the backlog projects within those extremely short timelines was very challenging. But I like the challenges. Comparing to other work places, this one is the most peaceful and friendly work environment.
Senior Director, Program Management (Former Employee) – Miramar, FL – March 7, 2019
The thing I enjoyed the most about Global Eagle are my colleagues. I looked forward to coming to work mostly because of the team and the things we did at Global Eagle, which I believe made impacts on people's lives
IT SOX Compliance Project Manager (Former Employee) – Los Angeles, CA – November 28, 2018
Global Eagle was a great place to work where they had an excellent group of people working for the company. The only thing was that they underwent a financial restructuring affecting the jobs to many individuals. Anything from that, Global Eagle was a very comfortable place to work at. Related to the job function, the hard part from the job, other than the restructuring, was that a corporate culture was needed to be implemented in order to be insync with the company's good practices. This was a good lesson for me to observe and learn as to finding the uniformity of the good practices with the corporation.
Campaign Manager - North America (Current Employee) – New York, NY – November 7, 2018
Global Eagle is in a unique position where the company is works with the world's largest airlines in variety of facets from connectivity to ancillary revenue. Depending on the segment of the company, you will have very different experiences.
Sales (Former Employee) – Miramar, FL – August 26, 2018
Heres to hoping the company turns around and does better. Heres to hoping they help diverse employee to grow vs. Cutting them when they get a chance. The company has always been a diverse one but they have brought in a slew of VPs who seem threatened and not interested in keeping good diverse employees around. The short story is they want puppets now vs leaders who are able to do their own jobs with good direction.
Aviation NOC Technician II (Former Employee) – Lombard, IL – May 31, 2018
Making sure aircraft WIFI systems are online using Global Eagles monitoring systems, if you work 2nd or 3rd shift you have a lot of freedom. The guys in the NOC are tight knit and make the experience fun.
Free Soda, snacks (most of the time), stocked kitchen to make food in if needed.
Management (Current Employee) – Fort Lauderdale, FL – May 22, 2018
Tumultuous environment. The last few years have been an experience. The silver lining is that the dust is settling and the company is positioned in a more positive direction. How long and what that will actually take is driving uncertainty in the organization.
