Easy job but retention is a definitive problem, always under staffed
Security Officer (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXMay 11, 2018
If you work hard here you will be used. While the brunette female manager and the tall white male manager are competent the third one stinks. The head manager is a constant no show. Always understaffed and if you care at all you will be criticized for it. If you ar scheduled for one flight they will have you work that one, pay you for one, and then move you to another one AT THE SAME TIME, so they can charge both for having someone there.
Cons
Long breaks in between flights, paid flight by flight

Unorganized & Stressful
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) –  Garden City, NYFebruary 19, 2018
This company need major changes starting from upper management. Very unorganized, management is rude, does not respect staff, health benefits is a joke, and the work environment is extremely stressful compared to your salary.

Gone From Bad To Worse
Supervisor (Former Employee) –  John F. Kennedy Airport, NYFebruary 4, 2018
Seems like all the hard workers either resigned or got terminated. Favoritism still exists & it remains a disorganized mess. Management needs to improve. Company will hire just about anyone. Turnover still remains high. Lots of slackers and management does little to nothing to fix the problem before it escalates.

There are no benefits and the pay is low considering what you're going through over there. Most of the work is outside. You can get the same pay or more at a different company doing much less. It's just another stepping stone until you find a better job.

Some supervisors were caught messing with the manpower. Pretty much just adding their friend's names when they were clearly not present for work. Paychecks are always a mess every other week. There's no clock to punch in so, you have to keep track of your own hours. No direct deposit either.

Managers don't do much either except drive around. The whole company needs an overhaul. They're losing contracts as their manpower continues to suffer. If you're loyal to this company, don't expect any help if you get into a situation you don't wanna be in. They clearly don't care since it's easy to replace you. Union is after this company.
Pros
Airport environment, Friendly coworkers
Cons
Split shifts, no benefits, high school level gossip, disorganization

Working here is not a place for you to grow. it is a good company but with a poor choice of management to handle the location! the job is easy and manageable because of the handwork of the employees but not the people above them. sad to say that they got benefits and everything for doing nothing.
Pros

Security Agent (Former Employee) –  FllJune 16, 2017
You rarely go over 35hrs, they don't do direct deposit, lack communication from all angles, it's a contract job, you dnt clock in or clock out. They write your hours down and may god goes with you if the supervisor don't like you( your check might never be accurate) they don't care about seniority so they definitely don't care about newbies, they are super cheap. Job is very easy and you see a good paycheck when you get 27hours for the week and if you do a cover shift for someone. NO BENEFIT OR GROWTH. Most shifts or consider 4 or 5 hours a day, on a good day you might do a double shift where you'll work a 12 hour shift or 9 hour shift and that MIGHT be 2 or 1 days out of the week. You have to take your lunch or personal things with you everywhere you go and you don't have any where to warm the food unless your cool with the plane engineers and they do it otherwise you'll eat cold food(no locker provided) it's not the typical union jobs.
Now as you read am not over exaggerating it's the truth.. if you still apply and get offered do not look at this job as a permanent job, use it just to get a better job at the airport let it be your source to a better opportunity. You will never be full time or guarantee hours close to 29 trust me.. they only offer that pay rate only because the dont give hours.
They also give you a hard time to have another job with this because they want you to remain flexible. They don't offer grace periods either and they lack communication, and common sense..
Pros
Easy job
Cons
Everything that's bad
