Security Agent (Former Employee) – Fll – June 16, 2017
You rarely go over 35hrs, they don't do direct deposit, lack communication from all angles, it's a contract job, you dnt clock in or clock out. They write your hours down and may god goes with you if the supervisor don't like you( your check might never be accurate) they don't care about seniority so they definitely don't care about newbies, they are super cheap. Job is very easy and you see a good paycheck when you get 27hours for the week and if you do a cover shift for someone. NO BENEFIT OR GROWTH. Most shifts or consider 4 or 5 hours a day, on a good day you might do a double shift where you'll work a 12 hour shift or 9 hour shift and that MIGHT be 2 or 1 days out of the week. You have to take your lunch or personal things with you everywhere you go and you don't have any where to warm the food unless your cool with the plane engineers and they do it otherwise you'll eat cold food(no locker provided) it's not the typical union jobs.
Now as you read am not over exaggerating it's the truth.. if you still apply and get offered do not look at this job as a permanent job, use it just to get a better job at the airport let it be your source to a better opportunity. You will never be full time or guarantee hours close to 29 trust me.. they only offer that pay rate only because the dont give hours.
They also give you a hard time to have another job with this because they want you to remain flexible. They don't offer grace periods either and they lack communication, and common sense..
Everything that's bad
