Speech-Language Pathologist in Remote

I am so much happier after making the switch from brick-and-mortar schools to online school with Global Teletherapy. However, I have been a school-based SLP for 25 years and am not being adequately compensated, particularly since there are no benefits included.

Very kinda and supportive management. Days fly by as it’s very busy work schedule! Rewording job, remote so you have to be self motivated to complete tasks. Team bonding was important to company.
School Social Worker in Michigan

Worked here for school year, was not bad but sometimes students rarely showed up. On one of my last paychecks GT decided to pay me but ended up reversing my payment for the work I performed. Would not recommend, work life balance became overwhelming knowing you set your own hours but Case managers still schedule IEP meetings outside your time. Oh yea, no taxes taken out so you habe to set aside your own amount for taxes monthly.

Has been the best teletherapy company to work for but they have been bought out by Presence Learning. They had liaison positions that did almost all the petty work and correspondence between the schools and therapists so you could do your job efficiently. They cared about students and you could actually trust them. All good things come to an end. Unfortunately the company they have been bought out by have a bad reputation.

The company is a good fit for those looking for flexibility over the course of a year. I am able to sign on for the number of hours I want and there are always opportunities to increase, without pressure, if I need them. The company is supportive and I would recommend working for them. They guide you through everything and are well organized. The pay is not great, however, especially when you consider the lack of benefits.

Interview Questions

They do not ask much on the interview and you are pretty much hired despite what you answer. The more they hire, the more money they make. You are just a number.

Don't stress about the interview. It was the easiest interview. They are really just trying to get many clinicians I think. I'd be more worried about having work once "hired."

They asked all the usual questions and pretended they had a job.
