Globe Runner is a fair, remote, and overall decent place to work. You have smart coworkers and are compensated fairly. I feel like the company is inclusive and the CEO is decent and tries to make sure feedback is heard and things improved on. However, after the company bought out another agency, there is a split in philosophies between the CEO and VP, with very different ideas about quality and the types of work we do. This will probably even out with time but makes for inconsistent levels of work between clients the CEO is connected to and ones the VP is connected to.Overwork and burnout is mounting and it seems like certain projects (tend to be the ones connected to the VP) get disorganized fast. There sadly has been a lot of turnover lately but could be based on numerous factors. My suggestion is pump the brakes slightly and use a month to catch up on work, discuss and nail down best-practices/internal processes, review all our clients, and then move forward. Right now it feels like little consideration is being taken for ongoing projects so perhaps first consider what the workload of the team is before signing on new clients.

As an Executive Account Manager, I always felt Globe Runner did a great job of balancing the need to provide superior service to their clients with a work/life balance that was realistic and accommodating. Most of all, I consider Globe Runner to possess what is critically important in any company, large or small--integrity.

I've been with Globe Runner since the beginning of the year and would highly recommend it! Here's a few stand-out features that I value most:1) Phenomenal work/life balanceGR leadership encourages employees to live a life that is balanced and centered both inside and outside of work. They know we have families and they are very respectful when it comes to anything that may occur unexpectedly.2) Opportunity for Growth GR is continuing to grow and the potential for further expansion is exciting! This company is full of professional, educated individuals who are extremely knowledgeable in their field of expertise.3) Flexibility/TrustWorking from home is amazing (as long as you're a responsible, self-starter). Leadership is very hands on when you need them and encouraging. As long as your clients are taken care of and your responsibilities are met, you're appreciated for your hard work and trusted to fulfill your duties. Absolutely zero micro-managing from management.Like any job, there are hard days/weeks. The difference between Globe Runner and other agencies is that the CEO knows your name, is invested in you and your success, and wants to expand your knowledge in the industry.
digital marketer in Dallas, TX

I worked for Globe Runner for almost 2 1/2 years and the environment was great! The work we did was satisfying, you get a chance to really learn about digital marketing and the different aspects of it. The team was very diversified with young and older ages, different races, men and women, it was a really good mix. Sometimes the structure needed help but it was a positive work in progress. The downside was that Globe Runner did a poor job of training, which was tough because usually the people who could train you were so busy working with clients or their own task they did not have time to train. You have to train yourself which isn't a bad thing because you learn to be self reliant. The true downside is the Executive Leadership. It is tough for me to say this because they are all great people but in terms of business decision making that will impact the company, its one of the worse. Terrible at sticking to the structure and policy of the company, will get in the way of company operations and workflow, will make a crucial decision without in depth research and it will comeback to bite the company financially and lead to layoffs. Now I have heard, (and saw) most of the people who I worked with are gone and it is hardly anybody left. Globe Runner had such great potential but its leaders needs to know his own strength and weakness and move out of its way.
