The management
Distribution (Current Employee) –  Gardena, CAAugust 5, 2017
This specific location is BAD the management there is horrible. Too much favoritism going on in this facility. There is also lack of communication with employees, no accountability from management when something is out of place just out to get the weakest link. Golden state is a good company but this location just makes it look bad.

Water Distribution Operator II (Former Employee) –  Los Angeles, CADecember 31, 2016
Stay away from Gardena and Bell Gardens. High turnover "notice jobs are always opening at these offices?" and bad, unsafe areas to work in Inglewood Compton and south central.

Look up the term toxic work environment and it describes this place.
Pros
Decent pay and benefits
Cons
Toxic work environment, unsafe areas, excessive work due to poor areas, cliques, backbiting

Engineer (Current Employee) –  San Dimas, CAOctober 18, 2016
Co-workers were awesome, they taught me a ton in 5 short months and were very patient in doing so. Wages were under minimum compared to other water companies but hey, its a start.
